View updates

To view updates

There are two ways to view updates.

From the left-hand sidebar

The "All Updates" link in the left-hand sidebar will always show you all updates regardless of where they are.

The updates button in the menu bar

The updates button in the menu bar will show you updates up to the level you are zoomed into - but not updates that are at higher levels. 

To view all updates everywhere

Note: This way of viewing updates will show you all updates regardless of where they are.

1. Open the left-hand sidebar 
2. Click on "All updates"
3. All updates will now be highlighted in your Workflowy

Note: Clicking the "All updates" button again will take you back to where you were before you entered updates mode

To view all updates within a specific space

If you want to only see the updates for a specific space, this is the way to do so.

Note: If you zoom to a space and the updates icon is not visible in the menu bar - this means you do not have any updates in that space.

1. Zoom to the space you want to check for updates
2. Click the updates icon in the menu bar
3. All updates will now be highlighted in your Workflowy

Note: Clicking the updates icon again will take you to the root of your Workflowy
