You can create a live copy of any bullet - we call these mirrors.
You can actually create multiple live copies of a single item.
A live copy of an item will update when any change is made to any of the copies. This allows you to have the same up to date information in multiple places at once without having to update the different copies.
You can identify a bullet that is a live copy because it will have a diamond-shaped bullet.
With the bullet menu
- Mouse over the item you want to create a live copy of
- Open the bullet menu of that item
- Select 'Mirror (Live copy)' from the bullet menu
- You will see a green message at the bottom of the screen confirming you can now paste the live copy
- Place your cursor where you want to create the live copy
- Paste the live copy
With the keyboard shortcut
- Type double parenthesis ((
- Start typing the name of the item you want to mirror
- A search widget will pop up that lets you find the item
- Once you find the correct item, hit ENTER on your keyboard.
Note: You can also use the slash command "/mirror" to turn a regular bullet into a mirror.
To view all live copies of an item
You can view all the locations of a live copy and then navigate to them or delete them.
- Mouse over the live copy
- Open the bullet menu of that live copy
- You'll see a message at the top of the bullet menu that reads 'Node has # Mirrors See them'
- Click on 'See them'
- Click on the live copy you want to navigate to or click on 'Delete all' to delete the live copies
Note: You can use the slash command "/view mirrors" to perform the same action.
To delete a live copy
When you delete a live copy, the original item will stop having a diamond-shaped bullet and behave like a regular bullet.
- Mouse over the live copy you want to delete
- Open the bullet menu of the item
- Select 'Delete' from the bullet menu
To turn a live copy into a regular copy
You can turn any live copy into a regular copy at any time.
- Mouse over the live copy you want to turn into a regular copy
- Open the bullet menu of that live copy
- Select 'Detach Mirror'
Note: You can also use the keyboard shortcut "/detach mirror" to perform the same action.

How can I see which is the source and which is the mirror? I've already deleted something by mistake. If mirrored text was a different color, or the mirrored bullet was different in some way, it would be clear and enhance usability.
