What is the move to command
The move to command allows you to send any item to another location in your workflowy by specifying the destination. After moving an item you'll see a message that confirms the action and lets you view the item in int's new location or undo the move.
How to use the move to command
There are three ways to use the move to command.
Note: During the process of choosing a destination for the item, you can:
- Search for the destination (A)
- Choose from a recently used destination (Shown before you type anything)
- Create a new destination within the last used destination (think subfolder) (B)
- Create a new destination in a new location (again, think subfolder) (C)
With the slash command
- Place your cursor on the line that contains the item you want to move
- Type '/' to bring up the slash command menu
- Type or select the 'Move To...' option and hit Enter
- Choose the destination
With the bullet menu
- Open the bullet menu for the item you want to move
- Choose 'Move To...' from the options
- Choose the destination
With a keyboard shortcut
- Place your cursor on the item you want to move
- Hit [Ctrl] + [Alt/CMD] + [M] to bring up the move to menu
- Choose the destination
