Web Clipper issues

Recently the web clipper seems to be all over the place.

1. Though I clear my inbox daily, the web clipper will show items i have clipped from days ago. At the same time the app and browser show my inbox to be up to date. To deal with this i have to log in and out again, whenever I use it. 

2. I used to automatically clip to my inbox. Now, the automation is gone. Is this a new update? Is there a way that I can always clip to my inbox?
