    Agreed - this is the one of the main things that made me drop Workflowy for Kanban Tool for some more complex projects.

    Kanban Tool is actually its name! https://kanbantool.com/

    It offers free trials, so I'd suggest playing around with it. It's not quite as pretty as Trello, but it's swimlanes and board column width editing make it perfect for wanting to see all tasks at once. The ability to expand and collapse rows & columns is killer too.

    May I also ask if this feature is planned? 
    It makes a big difference on widescreens. 
    This is the only feature keeping me from using WorkFlowy as my primary tool for organizing notes.

    I would also like to be able to change the width of the columns in Kanban mode. I have 7 columns and scrolling is not practical.

    +1 the columns in the columns view are so extremely narrow sometimes it even makes it impossible to use in a functional and efficient way! The current mode only allows us to use this extra narrow version which is far too small for many of us. Manually resizing the columns with the cursor would be amazing. Otherwise, at least make them wider, or give us 3 options, narrow, medium, and wide. Thanks!

    Hello Frank,

    Another +1 for this feature. The columns width is way too small to use it effectively.

    Also, there was a workaround, which seems to stop working:

    Really, please take into consideration width adjustment for future updates. Or at least bring back the workaround.

    Did a search RE this feature and landed here...   one more YES PLEASE!   I often want to use boards to display only a few columns of information and would really like to be able to make them wider.

    Should we give up hope on this? I may need to transfer a lot of material out of my beloved Workflowy. The columns are basically unusable.

    I found that Workflowy's board columns are often too narrow to be usable. Even a short line of text will break down to the line above! If making them manually resizable is too problematic, at least give us the option to have columns with a decent width to fit a few words without breaking. Thanks!

    I tried to use a board today for the first time in any serious capacity. Unfortunately, it's just not useful for my task due to the columns being too narrow.

    Even if resizing never gets added, if the columns would at least fill the page's width that would help. They currently have a maximum width, even when there is plenty of empty space to the right.
