I like to use Workflowy as a writing/drafting tool. Many such tools have a so-called “zen” or “distraction-free” mode, which hides or dims parts of the interface in order to keep focus on the content. My wish-list for a treatment of this in Workflowy would look something like this:
- Toggle the mode on or off with a keyboard shortcut.
- Hide the header menu while active. Reveal on focus or mouseover.
- Hide or dim node bullets. Reveal on focus or mouseover.
- Increase space between items. (Maybe this would be more appropriate as a separate toggle?)
I’ve attached a "before" and "after" mockup. Would love to hear any thoughts and questions. And thanks—as always—for making my very favorite app. :)
