    What you experienced on both of your machines was a bug due to yesterday's desktop update... and we then got around to fixing it rather quickly... so when you reinstalled, it was a fixed version...

    Hello, I have the same sort of problem. I've updated Win app today, but it failed to launch. I removed it with Revo uninstaller and reinstalled but app doesn't launch. Meanwhile  there are bunch of WF processes  in task manager

    Browser app works fine

    same here. the bug has been there for years, but seems to have worsened recently.

    upgraded to 1.3.7-4016, as per the other thread -- this one did start successfully. will see if it persists or relapses.

    update: 1.3.7-4016 is still broken. getting it to launch (on windows) continues to be a hit and miss.
