Templates - preserve formatted text
When setting up a template with formatted text (eg bold, coloured, etc), the template defaults the text back to unformatted when a new version is produced. This very much reduces the utility of templates as an efficiency tool.

I hit the "+New" button. It is reproducable in Safari browser, chrome, the Mac and iOS app.
Sorry I see the problem now. The formatting on the top level bullet is removed. I assume this is because you replace the text manually of the top bullet. I did have a use case whereby I wanted the formatting to persist but I can see now why it doesn't.

Actually, I think it would be really helpful to be able to set the formatting for top level bullet. I have a meeting template that I like to incorporate into a time boxing style view of my day, with bullets for every half hour. I'd like to be able to add meetings but for the meeting headers to be a different color, so I can see at a glance which items are meetings and which items aren't.
