I feel like there are a couple date entry operators that are redundant and thus, date entry has some blind spots.
Searching for "This week" works as expected, but why does it input the Sunday of the current week when in text entry/autocomplete mode? I would think it should put a date range. I would think the same with next week and last week as well.
Also, there are 2 ways to get today's date on text input mode: one by saying "Today", and another by selecting the day of the week that today is. So for today (Friday) I could say both "today" and "Friday". Isn't redundancy a waste of these operators? Why doesn't "Friday" in this example give you next Friday? That could help recover the features I was explaining in the first paragraph; where "next week" doesn't give you a specific day, but a range instead.
