Mac desktop app icons display error
The app itself is working fine, but I have a persistent display error for the app's icon in certain contexts. For example, see the icon at the top of the installer window:
Once installed, here's the app information window – again, see the icon at the top of the window versus the larger icon in the "Preview" section:
Here's the error again in the Applications window in Finder (highlighted):
And once more when using spotlight to open the app – again the smaller version looks corrupted while the larger one is fine:
At this point I've tried fully uninstalling the app, rebooting my computer, and then reinstalling, and the display error remains. I'm running a mid-2012 era MacBook Pro with MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 and the most recent stable version of Workflowy.

Hi Tyson!
I got this to the developers and they have fixed and released today. Would you try reinstalling the app:

Here's the beta download if you'd like:

Thanks! I don't seem to be out of the woods yet, though. I uninstalled the existing version and then reinstalled from a fresh download at https://www.workflowy.com/downloads/mac/ – so, now running version 1.3.7-2963 (1.3.7-2963). But it looks like I'm experiencing the same sort of graphical errors with exclusively the smaller forms of the app icon. This is from the newest installer, for example:
Other than that generic Mac app icon, the Workflowy icons are displaying the same as before. :-/ I'm beginning to wonder if my Mac has some corrupted image file tucked away somewhere that regular uninstalls aren't picking up or something.

Thanks Tyson,
We'll continue to look into this!

Sounds good, thanks! In the meantime, I did figure out how to manually update any app or folder's icon on macOS (in case anyone else out there is running into this problem: copy / cmd+c on the desired PNG image, "show info" / cmd+i for the app or folder in question, select the app / folder icon at the top of the info window that pops up, and then paste / cmd+v the copied image).
