Any feedback on this? Is anyone else seeing this type of behavior?

I am also not able to move bullets on my iPhone. I just add them and then move them when I get my PC. I don't know if it is my lack of understanding of how it works, but it certainly is not intuitive to me.

    Daniel,

If you can, please try the steps I've documented here to reproduce. I'm curious if your issue is identical to mine:

    Thank you.

Same problem for me. This is terrible. It’s unusable.

Yes, only by restarting the app on the iPad does the ability to move items come back, and then only until you enter ‘text editing mode’, after which you have to restart the app again. Odd that it’s only on the iPad and not on my iPhone.

A key feature of any list is the ability to fluidly move items up and down it. This is impressively bad for an app that is otherwise very good. I’m surprised that it has been lounging here for a year.

I would agree. The bug still exists on iPad. I've had accept quitting/restarting the app every time I go from text editing to moving an item.

Uninstalling the app, then reinstalling the app had no effect. Neither did moving to a new iPad.

Is this issue one that’s being worked on? It’s been a year.

I can confirm that the bug still exists on iOS/iPad. Quitting and restarting the app will give you move capability again, but only until you enter text edit mode. Then moving is broken again.

I find that if you dismiss the keyboard (and exit editing) using Workflowy's supplied taskbar button (on the far right), the moving is much more likely to work as expected.  It seems that dismissing the keyboard using the keyboard's built in button doesn't let Workflowy know that editing has finished and so dragging is treated as part of the editing process and simply selects text.

I’ve had this problem on my iPhone for years. Still do. Can’t move an item until I get back to my desk and try to remember.

If I zoom in using iPhones accessibility feature (3-finger double-tap zooms screen) and then 3-finger double-tap on the item to move & to zoom out, Workflowy puts the item in drag mode and I can move it  works most of the time but it’s quite a lucky dance to get it to work on the item I want

Hoping that info is helpful to other users or maybe to the developers!?!?

Every time I consider upgrading I run into this and some other long-standing basic functionality bugs and I decide not to. Still haven’t found anything better to use, but paying monthly for something I know is not being supported well is a no-go too. So if this gets fixed I’m sure I won’t be th only new paying customer.
