Long Press on App icon

It would be great if long-pressing on the app icon (on android) brought up an action or two. Ideally the option to start writing in a specific place (e.g. inbox). I'm sure others can think of other things this could be used for?

  Also long-pressing on the icon of the iOS app would be nice to have a quick capture and some other useful options!
