Want to not copy completed tasks

Hello,

I love workflowy so far and use it as a daily log, but haven't found a good way to copy over tasks from one day to the next to show what was accomplished just that day. 

For example, here's a typical arrangement of my schedule:

• Fri, Dec 17, 2021
  • Top Priority
    • Task 1
    • ---Task 2---
  • Low Priority
• Sat, Dec 18, 2021

If I tried to copy the contents of Fri, Dec 17 to Sat, Dec 18 to start my next day and task 2 is completed, task 2 will still be transferred to the next day (even if hidden). The only way around this I've found is to do shift+ctrl+v when pasting, but doing that loses the formatting and any hidden nodes.

To keep everything tidy and up to date I have to copy things over to the new day, then manually delete completed tasks, which isn't ideal.

Does anyone have any suggestions from their own workflows on how to handle this, or perhaps suggest a feature I'm missing?
