Text background coloring

It would be very handy to have a toggle to enable a background color for a complete line of text past the end of the characters to the far right margin.

Highlighting a complete line is much more obvious to the eye than a short work in which the background color is only present behind those few letters.

This could be a prefs setting or a toggle for an item to allow the default usage if people like it.
