Presentation Mode
I currently use Workflowy to do demos and presentations quite often. With the addition of images, there isn't much I can't do. The biggest problem that I have is that, while demoing, workflowy allows both navigation (good) and editing (sometimes not so good).
The problem comes in when I am highlighting words or phrases. This triggers the awesome new styling bars, but I am only highlighting for emphasis. Clicking on a block of text also triggers the spellchecking. This is awesome most of the time, but when dealing with acronyms and code, this turns my programmery presentations to a mass of red squigglies.
Can I propose a simple "presentation mode" that only does:
- Turns off formatting on selection
- Turns off spellcheck on highlighted block
- Has a keyboard binding to toggle to/from this mode (in case you need a quick edit while presenting)
Essentially a "view/navigate/read only mode" would be plenty good enough.
I certainly can do all my presentation as it is, but these would make the result that much more professional.
Thanks!
P.S. Another enhancement would be to hide any editor/new item UI, but the other stuff would be sufficient.
