Yep... "|" doesn't seem to be searchable via the Ctrl+K menu.

I'll ask the developers about this...

Hmmn. I was searching via the top search box - didn't try Ctrl+K... which apparently works for me now.  I'm very confused.  I was getting just the |Adobe hit that I asked for - now with Ctrl+K I do see every mention of Adobe when I search "|Adobe" but that includes the actual |Adobe bullet,  so I can find it more easily...

Aaah, weird... not sure why my testing came up empty. I'll try again. This is actually a super smart way of jumping around. I use 3-letter shortcuts to jump around via Jay's (@rawbytz') WFx extension... I was wanting to add those same 3 -letter strings to the corresponding lists AND prepend a "|"...

Strange... it's working for me now. Maybe we have some of the fastest developers ever... I even tested with other characters that can now be included in tags... such as ">"... and Ctrl+K wasn't finding them... but it is now...

Yup.  The power of suggestion!  Thanks anyways! - Just for information,  my prependy scheme (good word: I'd forgotten that one...) runs to a few variations.  I use it in Evernote too because it makes headings stand out,  and where I get lots of search hits I know which ones are the more important/ relevant in some situations.  There are three variations (I think!) -

    • ||<keyword> = a top level heading that will contain other important sub-headings
    • |!<keyword> = containing mixed subjects - like a project which includes various notes and emails
    • |<keyword> = content is limited to one specific company / person / app

With the addition of starring in Workflowy,  this means I can jump around using search, or I can use the left window for an index.  Here's a bit of the full list - it obviously runs A-Z.  Some frequently-used titles are colour-flagged to be easy to pick from a list.

(In (old) Evernote I can also search for tags with "|!A" and get a quick list of project tags etc.)

    Enjoy!
