    I have the same issue with the desktop app on linux.  After the latest update (1.3.6-831), the app states that it is offline. The network log in developer tools shows constant 404 errors from http://localhost:60000/push_and_poll.

    Downloading the beta did not solve the issue, this version is stuck forever at the loading animation.

    I have the same issue (Arch Linux), and the beta fails for me in the manner reported by Simon.

    Unfortunately, the beta version I have downloaded after getting the response from Frank refused to work yesterday. But it was working a couple of days. The symptoms are the same:

    - if I'm starting the app while I'm logged to my account, it shows a banner about the offline mode at the bottom (last save was ... ago) and the error in the dev console exactly as Simon Bowly described it above;

    - if to log out, and then restart the app, it shows loading animation with the error I described in my first message here;

    An interesting fact is that I tried to download the beta version once again today and it works fine. I compared hashes of both beta version Workflowy appimage files and the version I have downloaded today differs from the beta version I downloaded after receiving response from Frank.

    So guys, try to download the beta version once again.

    Thank you for your quick reply, it works like a charm!

    I think this can be closed.

    Thanks Vladimir - confirming the newer beta resolves the issue for me also.

    Unfortunately on Fedora installing and reinstalling the beta version did not help.

    It worked, not on the second try, but the beta version worked, thank you
