Workflowy causing loss of icons

I've had some trouble with Workflowy for a while (previously it uninstalled every time I restarted my computer which has now stopped), currently many, but not all, of my icons have been replaced with non-descript boxes (white boxes with a blue centre which I'm assuming is some kind of windows default). I know that this is caused by workflowy because if I uninstall it the icons instantly come back. The icons disappear on restart once workflowy is reinstalled.

Something of note, this laptop is owned by my university and so runs on their settings but I have administrator rights.

  Hi William,

  What "icons" are you referring to? Are you talking about ASCII characters, Emojis, Unicode...? Do you have a screenshot?
