Create a true backlink
CompletedWhen we are typing `[[` it only shows the nodes that are already created. To fully extend the power of backlinks, can we create a new node through this?
Suppose type: `[[An entirely new node]]` and it doesn't return anything, we can create a new node with the same name.
Use case: Sometimes when I am writing notes, I like to think about future topics that I would like to make notes on. This way I can automatically create a node for it and remember to write about it later on.
What location these nodes should be created? Open question: Can be home.

Not yet, Romit. We'd like to have this in the near future.
Home would be a good place to create this as-of-yet-non-existent node... or perhaps an inbox of the users' choice. Romit... If memory serves, I think you're already on the Slack group. This would be a great one to bring up in the Slack group. The forum is like a ghost town in comparisson.

Just want to +1 this. I've been off and tried Obsidian to understand the hype, can see lots of good things but for me Workflowy as an outliner is a superior tool for actually managing day to day work. One thing that is really good about Obsidian is just being able to create a link to a non existent note (node in Workflowy). That way, when you then create that node, relevant backlinks are there and ready to go. For me this is super helpful as I often deal with new teams and projects, just putting placeholder links to people or teams is great, then when I get around to scheduling a meeting with that team or person I can create a note/node for them and the backlinks help me gather my thoughts on what I need to cover with them. Of course once everything is setup and running it's less of a big deal as mostly the right nodes etc are created earlier ... but still, this is a feature that would help make it possible to just type and get things down, with the overhead of how to structure etc being left to evolve later.

For the record, this feature just got implemented and released:

(In case anyone is looking at this thread and wishing they could do this - It is a very nice feature indeed.)
