    Hi there,

Please update your app(s) to the latest release:

    1. Mobile apps can be updated in the Google Play Store and the iOS App store
    2. You can download and install the latest desktop app here: https://www.workflowy.com/downloads/

I love your software and how excellent its UX usually is, but this is really not a good experience. The fact that we need to update the software could be handled really better, especially because of the temporary password. First the message really looks like an error and I'd prefer to know beforehand about the update instead of being kicked out of he app suddenly. Then, having to update in this case means that we have to figure out by ourselves that we need to go on the website to get this latest version (the wording can be quite confusing), then login, go to our mail, enter the code, download the software, install it, login again, go to our mail enter the code.

    Hi Anais,

This is totally extreme. Our appologies.

Extreme times called for (semi) extreme measures:

I see, now I know why it felt completely out of place in the usual experience of the software. Great job!

Phew! We're relieved that users are leaning on the "usual experience" and not this one-of-a-kind occurrence :-)
