pluralization insensitive search

I depend on search for a lot, and am regularly adding keywords / search terms on my nodes for finding later.  One feature that would greatly improve search is pluralization insensitivity.  

For example, if I add the word "workspace" to a node, and later on searching for that node and I search "workspaces", the node doesn't show up.  With pluralization insensitive search, it would, which would make tagging nodes a lot easier and more powerful.  Vice-versa would also be true in the case above (I tag node "workspaces" but search "workspace"). 

Nowadays, I end up adding both "workspace" and "workspaces" when I can remember, but this is just a lot of effort, easy to forget to do, and crowds up my nodes.
