To dramatically boost the ease of mirroring, the move-to-another-node functionality that Frank has announced is coming will serve as inspiration for this final major improvement to mirroring -- an almost identical feature, mirror-to-another-node.
The ((referencing is cool functionality ... but 95% of the time I want the mirroring to be push, not pull -- to export a mirror of the current bullet to another place, not to import a bullet mirror that I previously logged elsewhere.
WorkFlowy's current UX is cumbersome enough that I don't foresee using it much:
It reminds me of Trello's functionality to move cards by cutting them (Ctrl + X), which is not much of a shortcut if you aren't moving the card to an adjacent list, but instead need to navigate to the exact spot within the byzantine labyrinth I've built within the web app where I want to "drop off" the copied card (via Ctrl + V) ... if I don't get distracted first and forget I copied it.
Thankfully, Trello offer a different and better way to move cards as well. When you open a card, you can click "move" to see this:
It's the kind of functionality that would be great inside WorkFlowy, and I hope y'all combine the clickless ease of pressing Cmd + X (metaphorically, obviously) with producing a navigable popover even easier than Trello's (as when [[linking in WorkFlowy, which is elegant!) to select where it's gonna be mirrored!
