format for embedded URLs

When I use the CMD-K or link feature over text, Workflowy makes a click'able string of text.   Workflowy does not obviously support Markdown link format of [text](link).  However, the UI is working with embedded links.

 

How can I format text to "paste" into Workflowy so I get the embedded link style?  Instead of having to go thru the sequence of steps to copy/paste text, then copy the link, then select text, then make a link.

  Hi Brian,

  WorkFlowy should automatically paste embedded links from elsewhere as embedded links in WorkFlowy. If you're starting with Markdown, you might want to try an intermediate markdown editor to convert to HTML before pasting into WorkFlowy...
