Backup to HTML on Dropbox

I'm new to Workflowy and love it so much I'm using it for university study, for work and to manage my personal life.

But, using it so heavily, what would I do it Workflowy went offline?

I can access the text Dropbox backups which do have all my information but these are hard to read visually because they contain all the completed items, and indentation and use of Bold is unclear. The .backup files aren't human-readable.

I have a manual workaround which seems to be to select "Export All" then save an HTML file locally to my computer each day. I just wish this could be automated - to save an HTML backup to Dropbox each day.

If there's any way to read the dropbox .backup files offline please do tell me!

Hi Nick,

The backup files can be read in most outliners out there worth their salt. Outliners are not going anywhere... so the market has got you covered there!

Could you give me an example? I did look for outliners but struggled to find something that could read the files.

Also, the dropbox backups don't appear to be in OPML format?

Do the other outliners read the .backup files?
