Adding bullets within boards

Hi all, 

Apologies if I use some of the wrong terminology here. I'm looking to easily add bullets within a sheet in a board, ideally through keyboard commands. I drafted up a quick example screenshot below, in which I'd like to add a bullet to Test 2 (like I did with Test 1). 

The work-around that I've devised is to zoom in, add the bullet, and zoom out again, but that feels inefficient so I've been wondering if there is a simpler way to do this.

  In your example you can just Tab the empty item below Test 2.  Alternatively you can move the cursor to the end of Test 2, hit Enter, and then Tab.
