Privately share link without embedding

I got a second account in an attempt  to have the best of both worlds, an enormous list that loads snappily, by way of a unidirectional link to the second large database.  However I only seem to be able to either create a public link, or embed privately, no luck on a link that only a specific account can open and has no bearing on start up time for the primary list. 

Did I miss it, or is this not a thing?  I imagine it's a niche ask in the scheme of things.

  Hi @mm,

  Nope... sorry, you can't load a privately-shared (via email) list in the browser. You will have to generate a "Secret link"... which really is secret... orders of magnitude more difficult to crack(or randomly run into/ guess) than the lock on your travel luggage.
