  please also add some sort of collection/folder/categorization in this area. So one could for example collect all his projects in one folder, all his favourites in another, all save searches in another or create some individual folder for something else.

  I vote for this as well! I to reorder individual items on my starred list so that I can prioritize them on the fly.
