Allow for Date Placeholder Inserts in Templates

I'd like to be able to use the new templates feature to create a task list template. If I could insert a date placeholder that auto-populated when creating a new instance of the template that would be neat. 

An example:

* Daily Tasks [TODAYS DATE]

  Hi Aaron!

  We'll consider this when we turn our focus to templates again in the near future. We know the templates feature as it exists is quite sparse and underdeveloped. We're preparing for a beta release any day now for colors!

  This is not a reality. My appologies for giving users hope based on information I had at the time. We would like to have this ability, but do not have it on our radar at the moment.

  Having the same wish/crave. I would like to have powerful checklists with a paramater date D which generates a tasks list at D-3, D+1, etc.

  Any more visibility on the templates development future?
