Share board view as view only with edit access to a child item

I just upgraded my account to Pro so I could share a task list (in board view) to a number of people.  Certain team members to have full access privileges to one of the board items/lists.  Unfortunately when they view the full board, it doesn't let them edit the board item/list that they have full access to.  They have to open only that item/list in order to edit it.  Is there a way this can be fixed so they can edit the item they have full access to within the higher level board view (that they have view access to)?

  Hi James,

  At the moment the editing capabilities come from the top down...

  In order to be able to edit lists further downstream, those would have to be shared (and viewed) individually via a different share.

  Yeah, we did share them individually and they can edit but only when "scoped" to that specific child item. If they view it from a higher level, they can't edit.

  Aaah, I see, yes... when you're zoomed in. Are certain folk having difficulty identifying what the lists are that they can and can't edit... or is it perhaps disruptive having to zoom in to edit?

  A bit of both but it is primarily disruptive to have to zoom in to edit. Currently it is starred for them so they can zoom in and out easily enough but it's a bit of a pain to have to switch back and forth all the time.
