Bullet and number option in list
Hi,
I know numbered lists have been requested but it would be amazing to have the option to integrate numbered list within a bullet list.
Ex:
- xyz
1. abc
2. def
etc.
-
I would argue against this as a list is a list:
If you mix the formats you confuse the viewer and lose the point. If you want to format a document like your example, you can do that in a word processor but WF is for making outlines.
If you start adding images and fancy formatting you lose lots of the simplicity.

Just to clarify, I'm not particularly against numbered bullets as an option.
What I am completely against is to add colour and pictures and fancy fonts and gimmicks, etc. I remember once reading Jesse (the founder) saying that the cores of WF was the challenge to make a powerful tool out of basically just Plain Text and outline. And I fall in love with this app since that day. I believe WorkFlowy was born with the motto "simplicity as a strength". And hope it keeps true to that value.

I believe WF can be used for way more than just outlines.
That's why having the option to integrate both can be practical. I use WF for many things, but one of them is to collect information from trainings and readings that can be helpful for me as a teacher. Having the option to add numbered list would make it easier to format.
Being able to add colours to the formatting could make it easier to find particular points within the bullet list that have been identified by a specific colour.
Plus, as it would be an option, if you want your WF to stay more simplistic, you don't have to use those features.

I am sure that the ability to create a numbered list would be very convenient and will add new users to you.
For example, it is convenient when you share a large list of tasks for a team and then during discussion, you can use the task number.
P.S. Colors and images, it's very convenient :)

Love WF!
Are numbered lists on the WF roadmap? How ironic that this comment tool has that ability.
- It's GREAT to use a numbered list in a meeting to refer to an items # in the list.
- I's so much easier than trying to keep everyone
- One the same page just with words
