    Hi Pete,

Try activating the "Full-width page" experimental feature in Settings. Does that help?

    Hi Piyush,

What if you had 3-5 more columns? The challenge here, as you can appreciate, is that there are a huge variety of monitor sizes and zoom factors. Some people have their interface zoomed in/ out. So getting s specific amount of columns to fit perfectly for everyone is an impossibility. Lists might be a better fit it you need to see more than 3-4 full columns...

    Its fine in editing mode,
But when you are reading, that last column (+Add new) isn't very good looking
It feels as though it is part of our fractal board (act as entire 1 column that we never created)
Instead it could have been a small + or nothing while simply viewing (and while editing it could have stayed as it is)

Noted! Thank you for your ideas :-). We'd like to simplify a few more elements.

I've posted in on slack, but I'll repost it here for voting: vertical text on collapsed columns (gitlab/github-like) would be huuge space gainer:

Yes, please, get rid of the "add new column" enormous button. Not only that takes a lot of precious space but also is too cluttering and distracting. It has the same importance in the visual hierarchy as the main content of our nodes! Which is a grand problem in legibility order.

The same issue in hierarchical importance is still happening with the "+ new node" button at the end of the left panel.

And the same happens with the "+ Add new item" button the end of each board column.

All these 3 cluttering problems: "add new column", "+ Add new item", and "+ new node" do not need to be there all the time and everywhere! Thay could be easily replaced by a minimal "+" (plus sign). Even better if that "+" would only appear when hovering the "add item" area.

It is a real pity if all these new features being implemented break the fantastic minimal UI redesign that made the team last year. The high quality and subtleness of the WF design system are currently one of its biggest values over the competency.

Because, let's be honest, Dynalist, for instance, has surpassed WF functions and features time ago. If many people like us in the studio, still value WF much more is because Dynalist is ugly while WorkFlowy is such a beauty.

This might seem to be a superficial remark, but when you use a tool on a daily basis and so much of your life is spend there… for that tool to be sexy is a critical call.

So, to wrap up, please be consistent with the amazing last year redesign, and do not add big buttons everywhere. No need to be so redundant prompting the user to add an item, add a node, add a column, here and everywhere. At this very moment, this kind of information is more predominant on the screen than our own content! which is absurd. We should be only focused and seeing what matters, which our content, while the UI elements should try to be almost invisible to the user.

If it is really a needed to add this call-to-actions in all these places, at least use minimal "+" icons, no big pill-shaped greyed-shaded buttons, etc. Note that this "+Node" text is not even well aligned with the left column text above it, nor the pill left edge is well aligned to the triangles above, etc, etc.

This kind of attention to subtleness are the ones that we praise so much about WorkFlowy, and that was also why the meticulous redesign was such a crucial move, and so well received.

Thanks for hearing, and keep up the good work!
