For the time being the date feature is interfering with other date dynamics you may have going... but fairly soon we're going to be allowing for multiple date-display formats and this will give you a lot more wiggle room :-)

Thank you for the prompt response. Saves me from the task of trying to replace or convert the existing.  Having YYYY-MM-DD option would save me from starting with another format. I selected that format as it sorts numerically.

Date conversion (right now): I LOVE the Today/tomorrow (tab) function.

Unfortunately, the way the date is entered (Tue, Sep 29, 2020) does not seem to be easily taggable, which is KEY to finding entries, and tagging #tue is not going to help.

    1. Tag a phrase: is there a way to #tag a phrase like #(Tue, Sep 29, 2020) or #"Tue, Sep 29, 2020" that would work as a tag w/o manual conversion? I don't want to go through hundreds of items to replace the space with dashes ... you get my point

    2. Is there a Workflowy compatible extension or some (relatively) easy workaround that would convert it to #2020-09-29 ?

I, too, would love to have dates available in ISO format: YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS+/-HH:MM

This is how I've used dates for a long time, because it is easier to sort, search, and tag, e.g. the tag #2021 brings up all 2021 date tags, and #2021-02 brings up all Feb 2021 date tags

    Hi folks,

Although we are going to be broadening our date formats in WorkFlowy fairly soon, you can search for dates using natural language in WorkFlowy if you use the current date feature.

You can search for February 2021 by using the search box... you can use phrases like "Last week", "Next month", "last 2 years", "tomorrow", "today", etc. You can also search for periods of time using a dash between search phrases.

@david - Agree on the ISO format. To that end, I have added a Feature Request for ISO 8601 as a clean starting point for alternative date formats!
