  Very eager for this - especially when paired with Tags. #urgent stuff is easy to lose when glancing through a page of stuff!

  I use WorkFlowy for outlining a TV show in the writers‘ room and love the fractal boards. Are you planning on implementing colors there as well (to give the „cards“ different colors if needed)?

  Hi @Adrian, color in some shape and form are on the way... next up is image attachments. We're deliberating. Both color and images in WorkFlowy boards (and in WorkFlowy in general) will make this a whole lot more visual for those who are used to Trello :-)

  Great to hear that, can't wait! What would help, too, would be a bigger contrast between the background and the current highlighted boxes (or what do you call them?) in the fractal board view.

  @adrian, the highlighted boxes we call "cards". I think we unconsciously bummed this off of Trello ;-)

  Highlighting text, and coloring text is long overdue and the main reason that I don't use Workflowy daily.

   

  I've seen posts and comments as old as 6 years promising some kind of color feature coming, but nothing yet.

  Same reason that I cancelled my Pro account. I just can't use it without some color.

  I did get a plug-in that lets me do some crude highlighting, but I have ugly color tags (#green) everywhere.

  When is Workflowy going to take this seriously? Doesn't seem like it would be that hard to at least have a highlighter with some basic colors. When I get email reports about changes, the text is highlighted. Why can't we highlight the same way within the app?

  Hi Isaac,

  We have only relatively recently grown as a team to the point where we can bring out new features in a good timeframe. We've been building mirrors, image support, backlinks, embeds, etc. So we've been making good use of our time. We do, however, recognize that we can knock out color features quite quickly... but we are working methodically towards what we want in the app as a whole. Color is definitely high on the list. No promises, but I reckon we'll have color within the next 3 months.
