Starred items seems not synchronized between Desktop app and Mobile App (ios) in the sidebar menu

    I'm having a similar issue, but between desktop app and web app.

    I just did some tests. I starred lines in the browser and they (almost) immediately showed in the desktop app, but items I starred in the desktop app are not appearing in the browser. I have restarted chrome and the desktop app.  I am about to reinstall the desktop app and expect to loose all the stars I have created via the app.

    To my surprise, after uninstalling and reinstalling Workflowy for Windows, the stars I added from the desktop app are still there in the desktop app.  However, they still do not appear in the web app.

    I have uninstalled the desktop app twice, once using a third party uninstaller, and restarted the browser multiple times. Items I star in the desktop app are not starred in the web app. Items star in the web app are also starred in the desktop app.

    Hi Arnaud, 

    Have you tried refreshing your apps and then checking the starred pages on both devices?

    Hi Franck,

    I restarted mobile app several time during the afternoon. No starred items I had created before with the desktop app appeared.

    Following your message, I restarted first the mobile app. Starred items were here except one (#next, the first in the list).

    Then, I closed the desktop app (all starred items were there). I reopened it: #next was missing !

    I starred again the #next tag (home level, like the others), I closed et reopened the mobile app. #next doesn't appear.

    I  closed again the desktop app and opened it: #next is still here.

    Hi Arnaud,

    Would you please try deleting both the desktop app and the mobile app and reinstalling?

    Hi Franck,

     

    Sorry, but in fact, it still seems not to work properly.

    I've reinstalled both of the apps, mobile and desktop. The starred section in the menu bar still doesn't update correctly.

    I think the issue is in the mobile app because

    1. desktop app is perfectly synchronized with the web app and reciprocally
    2. when I add a tag in the mobile app and star it, the desktop is updated consequently (after closing and reopenning it)
    3. so, the issue (starred items/tags not updated in the ios mobile app) seems to appear only when I add a tag and star it in the desktop app
