Multiple Columns

I have recently been trialing Trello. While it is not as frictionless as Workflowy I love having multiple columns of bullets. I would love for a node to be able to have multiple columns in Worflowy; with the ability to drag an item between columns.

For a big project, columns make it easy to see where everything is at.

  So if you go into settings and enable boards that functionality is actually already present. :)

  Wow! Thanks so much. I am glad I asked.

  I have had a play around with it, and I cannot quite get it to work. I watched a video on Youtube, and followed the process outlined in the settings, but I cannot make it happen.

  I haven't been able to get the columns/boards to work either - never shows up in the settings.

  @Mitch no longer an optional setting.  To convert a bullet to "Boards":

  • Bullet Menu > Bullets > Boards
  • Or use the page menu. Click the bullets icon (next to Star, upper right)

  Anyone know why sometime the column has hidden items.  When I reveal them I cannot find a way to hid hem again.  Any ideas?

  While in the Board [ Kanban ] view, you can collapse or expand all items under the column title -- just hoover with the mouse on the left side of it, and you will see the well-known arrow ( triangle ).

  Thank you, Stefano! I didn't know that before reading this thread. And it's a very useful function, indeed!

  Anyway to achieve this or a global "collapse all / expand all" with a shortcut on the WorkFlowy MacOS desktop app?
