Expand/collapse selected nodes
If I have a list of 10 nodes and three of those nodes are expanded, and then I select those three nodes that are expanded (and by implication, their children), when I press Ctrl+Up to collapse, it should collapse all three of those subtrees. Instead, it does nothing.
Likewise, if I have a list of 10 nodes which are all collapsed and I select five of those nodes, when I press Ctrl+Down for expand, those selected five should all expand the same as if I expanded each of them one by one. Instead, nothing happens when this keyboard shortcut is pressed.
I would also like for the options "Expand" and "Collapse" to be found in the menu that appears when a selection is made (currently the menu only offers Complete and Delete).

Hi Ryan,
Great suggestion... and for now, what might help in the meantime would be to double click in the expand collapse arrow to the left of any bullets you want to expand/ collapse fully. This might actually be as fast, if not faster than what you're proposing... because instead of selecting certain lists via Alt+Click, Click... you just expand the lists you want fully... and then there's no messing with the menu option you're suggesting...

Thanks, Frank. Yes, that is sometimes useful, but the scenario I was imagining was if all ten starting nodes were siblings and I wanted to expand a selection of them all at once. If the five I want to expand were next to each other (in series), I wouldn't need to Alt+Click each of them; I would be able to drag a selection over them, which is a lot quicker.

Would just like to note that, for my workflow, it is important for nodes to open one at a time with CTR+DWN so that I can more easily navigate within the current echelon rather than dealing with the entire mass of data every time. 🙂
"Expand" and "Collapse" on the selection menu would be swell though!
