Item count including all nested items

Control A gives a number of first level sub-headings under one overarching heading (which is usually quite a small number).

I would find it much more useful to be able to ascertain all the nested items within items under one overarching heading (which can be many thousands). This would include being able to find the total number of items in Workflowy.

Is there a way to do this? (I think there used to be?)
