Bullet coloring
There have been several requests/comments on how to hide bullets or to support line breaks within bullets. There is also a desire to apply color labels to items. One option to address both is to allow users to control the coloring of bullets for each item. Besides standard colors like blue/green/etc... one of these options could be very close to the background color of the current theme (like light gray for a white background). This would allow it be visible but less distracting.
This would probably be a simpler form of the request for custom bullet icons, which would also be nice but harder to get right (especially the change in appearance to indicate hidden children):

Hi Joseph,
Color in WorkFlowy has not been forgotten! We are going to build a color feature this year. In the meantime, we're building some really fantastic feature such as "boards" which can be activated in your Settings menu... as well as a range of date-related features :-)

Hi @D,
You can activate boards (currently in beta only via your web browser) by:
1. Activating "Boards" in your Settings menu (Desktop browser)
2. Using the syntax "is:::board" (no quotes) in the note of a bullet (Shift+Enter to get to the note)
3. This will give you a horizontal list of columns :-)

OMG Frank - boards are amazing! Took me a while to get them to display and not really sure what I did but anyway... as a GM of a v small arts charity in the UK I have been using Workflowy for a while managing company business, forward strategy and delivering projects including an annual festival. This year got too overwhelmed by the HUGE lists and finding what I need. Now with current situation I need to pull forward urgent items but not forget the jobs needed to be done eventually. Just playing with boards so far but it so much reflects the way i used to use written lists - so not using the GTD particularly.
Sorry to hijack your post Joseph!
However - not mentioned on Workflowy blog and no hints how to use apart from a video on You Tube!

Hello! I've noticed that one of my bullets has a blue circle around it. The rest all have grey circles. Why is there one and only one bullet with a different color? The existence of this different one implies that the colors can be changed. But I can't figure out how to change them. Here is a screen grab of the random blue bullet:

HI Rezwan,
The blue halo around the bullet means that either you shared that bullet with someone... or someone shared it with you and you embedded it into your account. Take a look at the 3-dot options menu to the left of any bullet and you'll see details in the "Share" option or "Shared".
