With Date feature, enter should still create new item, not fill in the date
With the date feature, it's very difficult/frustrating to add any items that end with the word "today" (or other date words), because pressing enter, which would normally create a new item below the current one, instead replaces the word with a date object.
I think that having Tab is sufficient as a shortcut for expanding those date objects.
Though it's still suboptimal to have Tab be overloaded as well, which makes indenting rows more difficult to do if the cursor is after a date word, but that is less annoying than having it happen on pressing Enter.
Please disable, or allow me to disable, Enter as a shortcut for completing the date objects so that I can type up lists without having to carefully work around that.
The key sequence I have to do to type "It's 62°F today" is "<type stuff> <esc> <Enter>". Or "<type stuff> <Enter> <Cmd-Z> <Enter>". Both of these are frustrating, and the first requires treating the software carefully, which is always a big mental overhead to have to do.

Hi Phoenix,
Are you on the desktop app? We've already made the change to Tab to activate a date object in the browser :-). The desktop apps will take a bit longer.
In the meantime, you could hit space before hitting Enter (or if you're not using the date feature, you can toggle it off). Sorry for the inconvenience!
