shared list URL default view: no sidebar
Primary wish: NO sidebar by default
Like sending somebody a digital 8.5x11 piece of paper with exactly what I want them to see. Beautiful.
Secondary wish: 'HOME' on sidebar is a link like the rest of the sidebar items
Clicking a sidebar item to zoom to a section is great (especially with those icons! 😁)
But after I've navigated to a sub-node, if I want to get back to the top, I fail three times (I click the red circles in image below) before I realize I need to click the breadcrumb to the right of the 🏠 icon

I'm fighting The Man, and continuing the conversation here.
I think by definition the shared URL is a much smaller subset of something bigger. Displaying the Left Bar in the shared URL just adds confusion. People can add the share to their outline, and see how the "real" Left Bar works.
Ditto for the Home icon, for the exact same reasons. And Ditto for the Star icon...

Maybe this video demo would help you understand why the sidebar is nothing but confusing to people coming to see my page
I've embedded the list on my WordPress site as well

WorkFlowy used to have /embed/ link protocol that could be used for embedding WorkFlowy content in iframes. It used a cleaner header and removed the "Add to WorkFlowy" dialog/buttons. Maybe this could be resurrected? The default share links could work as the do now. Then users can replace the /s/ with /embed/ as before to render the share link with:
- No Left bar, or minimally, the Left Bar disabled
- No home icon
- No Star button
- Convert the Add to WorkFlowy banner into a less space-cobbling button in the corner.
It could be a manually url edit, or the Share dialog could have an "embed" checkbox that generates it for you. And maybe embed links are restricted to "View Only" if iframe security is an issue.

Hi Ian,
I think this would generate a better discussion in the Slack group if you want to get some steam on this ;-)
Did you know there's a keyboard shortcut for getting Home in WorkFlowy? You can hit Ctrl+'
Also... if you're using WFx... you can activate it and then hit Enter (with nothing in the WFx dialog box) to get home as well...
