    Hi Pete,

I don't see this in Chrome... What browser are you using?

BTW... the dropdown allows one to jump to search results... not so much for auto-completing...

Hi Pete, so just to confirm, you're talking about the new Search Helper feature that gives a list of jump-to items (similar to the Ctrl+K menu) directly below the search box... and items that are completed (and hidden) are showing up here?

If you log out and back in again, is there any difference?

Apologies for the delay, I lost track of this thread but still have the problem. :)

I am referring to search in the top right. You can see that I am getting suggestions for things are associated with completed items. This also impacts my "#" and "@" autocomplete when adding text below.

I logged out and logged back in and the problem persisted.

    Hi Pete,

This is expected (and programmed) behavior!

Tags will still show in the tag autocomplete helpers even if items that have all such tags are completed and hidden.

Hmm... Well it is suggesting tags that I used a couple of time 6 years ago and it's totally cluttering up the UI :/

Understood!  Do you think you may be able to easily delete tags you've only used a couple of times?

What might help is this find-and-replace tool if you have many tags to eliminate:

I think you may have figured out already that if you want to batch delete a certain tag... you just replace it with nothing :-)
