Start of bullet won't capitalize, and can't delete with backspace

Two seemingly related things on the iphone app:

When I am at the end of a list and hit enter, the next bullet does not automatically capitalize, but it does on the ipad.

When I try to delete a bullet with backspace, it won't allow it on the iphone.  I can do it on the ipad though.

  Hi Cameron,

  This is a known iOS 13.1 bug (both observations) that is in our sights and we are working to fix it! Thanks for reporting!
