How to log in and be synced across devices?

Hi! I made an account (I think?) yesterday and started making lists on my laptop. However, when I sent the link to my desktop PC to edit it there, it couldn't be reached. I was prompted to login, but it said that I didn't have an account with the e-mail I had entered on the laptop. I had to create a new account, using the same e-mail adress.

I want the lists I made on my laptop to be avaliable on my desktop PC as well, and the content to sync between the computers. How do I accomplish this?
