    We recently suffered from a spate of "fake referrals" where people were inviting non-email addresses in order to boost their credit. The extent was such that we needed to automate removal of these fake accounts. It's possible that some of your legitimate referrals were mistakenly confused for bogus ones and deleted. We are sorry that this affected you but at this point the only remedy is for you to "re-refer" those people and have them sign up for new accounts.
