WorkFlowy for Writers

What I struggle with is creating multiple summaries, blog posts, white papers etc from an ocean of source content.

Say I have 5000 bullets with varying amounts of text in each, and that I have tagged them all comprehensively.

If I'm creating some new text, I want this to be stored in the main source content silo, so I can access it for the book which I'm also writing.

I haven't worked out how to compile the bullets I want for each new output target (blog, summary etc). If I apply tags, and reorder or reword, then I've messed up the structure and content of the source material.

Should I duplicate source text bullets and move them manually to the target output bullet? Should I export to a different writing platform (Ulysses/Scrivener/Pages etc) and add any new interesting content generated during editing of that document?

WorkFlowy doesn't have an alias/clone/ghost function, which would make things really interesting.

    Advice?

This exact question/ scenario is a perfect one to drop in the Slack WorkFlowy Users group. Tons of folk there who like a bit of a challenge/ brainstorming.

If you send me your email address to frank@workflowy.com I can send you an invite to the group!
