I’m only showing one instance here, but the same thing is happening throughout WF. Latest OS, latest WF version.

Does it happen in both landscape and portrait or just in one of them? Thanks, we'll take a look.

    @lee

    it’s zoom related Lee

when I zoom in to make the text comfortably legible for my old eyes, the notes get truncated vertically. When I zoom out making the text smaller, the notes (or at least the first line) are progressively and then completely revealed.

This is what I see in iOS Safari when I try to adjust the text size:

it’s not even possible to drag the screen up so I can get to the size +/- adjustment areas.

My iOS experience is underwhelming to be honest

On the iOS app, When I do manage to zoom out enough to show the notes without truncation, the lines are spaced really far apart, leaving tons of white space

Adam, do you mind trying this on the production iOS app? I'm curious if this is an old bug or a recent bug only on beta?

I installed the App Store version, and the same artefacts and dodgy spacing behaviour are there. Seems identical to the TestFlight version.

Got it. Yeah, I think this is a long-standing bug. We'll get it fixed. But glad it's not a new beta bug.

My experience with WF on iOS is pretty frustrating - there are bugs obviously, but those combined with the current functionality makes it a near unusable platform. If there’s a laptop or desktop anywhere near, I’ll go for that every time. It’s counter-intuitive, because WF on an iPad could/should/will become awesome.

Let’s see what they do with iOS in June, and what magic you guys can perform with the new OS.

This week's iOS version should have improved some of these iOS Notes issues. Any better?

Adam- what kind of iPad are you using? We aren't able to reproduce these bugs you're seeing so far. Thanks!

    iPad Pro 12.9”

But it was happening on iPhone as well.

However... it’s now fixed. Notes remain visible and untruncated at all text sizes.

There are 17 text size option in the iOS beta.

From the largest, reducing the text size by 4 or 5 sizes goes fine, but then the spacing between lines becomes divorced from the text size, and stays about the same while the text gets smaller. Ideally, text and spacing sizes remain consistent - more like a zoom than a change of font size.

I get the sense that WF on iOS is about to get a whole lot better. I really hope so - it could be a killer app on an iPad with keyboard. It would be nice to pinch zoom the text size on iOS, as can be done with tons of other apps. And why does the screen go blue when adjusting text size? Makes no sense to me at all!

One bug at a time for our tiny team. :) Thanks for your patience!

Yes, the notes fix went live today- hooray!

The spacing is on our list, hope to get to it soon.

More advanced ideas are great, we'll keep them in the queue! Thanks Adam!

And thanks for your outstanding responsiveness here Lee - we can feel the teamwork going on over at WF HQ 😊

I read that Tabbing in 12.2 got fixed - very cool. No doubt you’re aware of the inability to up/down arrow between bullets.

    Rock on!
