600 Mb of storage on iPhone???
AnsweredThe Workflowy app is using just over 600 Mb of storage on my iPhone 6 running iOS 11.4.1. Since the only information I store in Workflowy is characters that I key in, I am having a difficult time understanding why it requires that much storage.
I don't believe there is even 1 Mb of characters of readable information in there. The daily backup to Dropbox takes 1.3 Mb. So what exactly is sucking up the other 599 Mb? I understand that some storage is required to make everything work quickly and efficiently, but come on.
I checked my memory usage just before writing this note, and Workflowy, which I have been using for several years, and have always appreciated for it's simplicity, is using more storage than; Evernote, my Podcasts, my Photos, Kindle, or the New York TImes. And the New York Times lets me clear it's caching buffers so I can cut it back to less than 100 Mb in about 30 seconds.
Workflowy seems to be way out of line. Check that. Way, way, way out of line.
I haven't been able to find any information about Workflowy's memory usage or how to limit it or how to clear caches and buffers here on the Workflowy site nor anywhere else on the Internet. The last time Workflowy on my phone got this big, I just deleted the app and reinstalled it, but that seems a little clumsy.
Is there any better way to manage the storage usage?
