Hi there, I'm new to Workflowy and trying to understand what I can and can't do with searching. Apologies if some of the terminology is off.
- When I do a search for a tag, it seems to limit the search only to the node of Workflowy that I am currently focused on. For example if my top-level outline has nodes for "Inbox", "Next Actions", and "Projects", and I click on the bullet for Projects to focus in on it and then search for the tag `@home`, it only brings back items with that tag that are in "Projects". Is there any way, other than moving back to the Home page, to do a search for a tag that will go outside the subtree that I am focusing on?
- Other than focusing in on a particular node, is there any way to restrict a search to only look at a specific part of the outline? Example: As I mentioned above, I have top-level nodes for Inbox, Next Actions, and Projects. I'd like to be able to do a search from the home page that will display entries that are either in the Next Actions area, or which are in the Projects area and are tagged with #next. (In GTD usage, this would be all available next actions, both those that are free-standing and those that are connected to a project.) I was hoping there would be something like an `in:` operator for searching that would restrict to a subtree (e.g. `in:Next Actions`) so that the search I am describing above would be something like `in:Next Actions OR #next` but I don't see it.
