Workflowy Desktop for Windows doesn't launch in airplane mode

I was hoping that the desktop app would let me use Workflowy offline, e.g. in airplane mode (Windows 10), but nothing happens when I try to launch the app. If I leave airplane mode, it launches fine.

  Sounds like a bug.
