Expand all not working for Windows App

When I use the expand all option on the Windows app from the ... menu the items don't expand out past the first level.

The feature works fine in the browser version.

  Iam confused... it all works ok now in the windows app.

  Its not working again...

  The expand all is not working in the windows app.

  I went back to the home page of the list 

  I selected an item from the list and tried expand all and it would not expand.

  .......

  Some progress - I have been able to reproduce the problem...

  When I shut down the windows app and go in again it works 

  When I go back to the home page of the list select an item and try to expand an item it wont expand

  Looks like a problem with performance
